About the Role
As a Physician Assistant/Nurse Practitioner, you will attend to patients at various locations, conduct medication management sessions, perform medical evaluations, create treatment plans, and participate in team meetings. You will also be responsible for patient education, discharge planning, and ensuring compliance with documentation standards. The position requires providing 24-hour coverage for patients and maintaining positive relationships with payors.
About You
Required:
- Licensed as a nurse practitioner or physician assistant in the state.
- Graduate of an accredited college or university with successful completion of required practical training in primary care medicine.
Preferred:
- Board certification as an AHP.
- Two to four years of experience working as a hospitalist provider in another licensed hospital.
- Leadership and/or supervisory experience in a behavioral health organization.
- Experience with process improvement implementation.
