About the Role
As a Physician Assistant / Nurse Practitioner Fellow, you will work collaboratively with Urgent Care teams under the mentorship of experienced NP/PA’s. Your responsibilities will include examining, diagnosing, and treating patients of all ages, ordering evidence-based testing, prescribing medications, and maintaining patient charts accurately. The fellowship program is a minimum 9-month continuing specialty rotation that includes hands-on patient care and ongoing lectures.
About You
Required:
- Successful completion of an accredited approved PA or FNP program.
- Active board certification with NCCPA for Physician Assistants or AANP/ANCC for Family Nurse Practitioners.
- Licensure as a Physician Assistant or Family Nurse Practitioner in the state of application.
- Demonstrated clinical competence and superior communication skills.
Preferred:
- Experience in urgent care or emergency medicine.
- Desire to learn and engage in continuous quality improvement initiatives.
