About the Role
As a Physician Assistant, you will promote and maintain patient health by providing medical services under the supervision of a physician. Your responsibilities will include assessing patient health, recommending treatment options, implementing physician directives, performing diagnostic tests, documenting patient care, and providing patient education and counseling. You will also ensure compliance with infection-control policies and maintain a safe working environment.
About You
Required:
- Graduate of accredited PA school and/or Licensed by Texas Board of Nursing as Advanced Practice RN.
- Current certification by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA).
- Current active licensure/Certification to practice as a PA/NP in the State of Texas.
- Current BLS certification.
Preferred:
- Knowledge of professional theory, practice, and medical care to give and evaluate patient care.
- Skill in applying and modifying the principles, methods, and techniques to provide ongoing patient care.
