About the Role
As a Physician Assistant in Crisis Continuum Services, you will perform psychiatric assessments, medication management, and risk assessments while ensuring timely documentation and adherence to clinical standards. You will collaborate with a psychiatrist-led team to deliver evidence-based care and facilitate smooth transitions for patients in crisis. Your responsibilities will also include leading interdisciplinary rounds and ensuring compliance with quality measures and performance indicators.
About You
Required:
- Master’s Degree in Physician Assistant Studies from a nationally accredited university.
- Active Physician Assistant license in State of Michigan in good standing.
- At least two (2) years of clinical experience as a physician assistant working in a behavioral health setting.
Preferred:
- Prior experience working in crisis/emergency settings.
- Working knowledge of the Michigan Mental Health Code and relevant policies.
