About the Role
As a Physician Assistant, you will perform physical examinations, order and interpret diagnostic tests, record findings, and collaborate with physicians to create patient care plans. You will also prescribe medications, perform clinical procedures, maintain medical records, and educate clinical staff on best practices.
About You
Required:
- Licensed as a Physician Assistant in the state of practice.
- Nationally Certified as PA-C by NCCPA.
- Current Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification.
- Current DEA license to write prescriptions.
- Master's degree in a relevant field.
- At least one year of clinical experience as a PA in relevant settings.
Preferred:
- Three years of clinical experience as a PA.
- Knowledge of workplace health and safety concepts and OSHA regulations.
- Current DOT medical examiner certification.
- Ability to train ancillary support staff on clinical skills.
- Experience with Electronic Medical Records.
