About the Role
As a Physician Assistant, you will be responsible for conducting comprehensive examinations, administering diagnostic tests, performing therapeutic procedures, and developing patient management plans. You will also prescribe medications, counsel patients, and collaborate with other medical providers to ensure continuity of care. Additionally, you will document patient records and participate in the education of graduate nursing students.
About You
Required:
- Graduation from an accredited physician assistant program with advanced skills in physical assessment and PA Certification.
- Must be licensed as a registered Physician Assistant in the state of Michigan.
- 3 - 5 years clinical experience in the practice of Family Medicine or Internal Medicine.
Preferred:
- Current DEA registration and Controlled Substances licensure.
- Experience with an FQHC or outpatient medical facility.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (or within 3 months of hire).
