Summary

About the Role
As a Physician Assistant, you will be responsible for taking patient histories, conferring with physicians about diagnoses and treatments, developing patient care plans, prescribing medications, and providing education to patients. You will also manage appointment bookings, maintain patient confidentiality, and comply with HIPAA guidelines while working in a clinic environment.
About You
Required:
- PA degree required.
- Current licensure maintained.
- At least two years of experience in a physician office or hospital.
- Ability to make independent decisions about patient care.
- Experience diagnosing and treating patients.
Preferred:
- Working knowledge of managed care basics and experience with a managed care and Medicare population.
- Comfortable using email and interacting with Internet applications.
- Knowledge of practice management and word processing software.
- Good communication skills.
