About the Role
As a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner, you will be responsible for delivering patient care, including recording medical histories, developing care plans, ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests, and coordinating care with other healthcare professionals. You will also educate patients and families about health and illness prevention, manage outpatient concerns, and participate in quality improvement initiatives.
About You
Required:
- Master’s degree in Physician Assistant Studies or MSN from an approved Master's Program.
- Current PA Physician Assistant License or practicing-state licensure as a Nurse Practitioner.
- PA-C or board eligible with ongoing successful recertification (NCCPA) as a PA-C within 90 days of hire.
- Drug Enforcement Agency Licensure within 60 days of hire.
- CPR certification from the American Heart Association.
- Act 33, Act 34, and Act 73 clearance certificates.
Preferred:
- Experience in Emergency or Critical Care setting.
