About the Role
As a Physician Assistant Surgical, you will be responsible for obtaining complete medical histories, performing physical exams, assisting in the OR, providing patient care, communicating with attending physicians, educating patients and families, preparing prescription orders, and triaging patient calls. You will also be required to take OR call and perform other duties as assigned.
About You
Required:
- BA/BS Degree in Physician Assistant Studies.
- Current PA Physician Assistant License.
- Board eligible. PA-C required or board eligible (License and certification required within 90 days of employment).
- CPR – American Heart Association certification.
- Act 34 Criminal Background Clearance Certificate.
- Act 33 Child Abuse Clearance Certificate.
- Act 73 FBI Fingerprinting Criminal Background Clearance Certificate.
Preferred:
- ACLS certification.
- 1-3 years’ experience.
- First Assist experience.
