About the Role
As a Physician Nurse Radiation Oncology, you will be responsible for coordinating patient care in collaboration with physicians and interdisciplinary team members, communicating with outside agencies, providing education to patients and families, participating in patient care visits, and assisting physicians in managing treatment-related symptoms. You will also uphold patient confidentiality and deliver care with compassion and empathy.
About You
Required:
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (State of Nebraska or compact equivalent).
- Current BLS certification.
- Minimum three (3) years of oncology experience.
- Knowledge of nursing processes, healthcare systems, clinic operations, and community resources.
- Understanding of HIPAA, OSHA, and applicable federal/state regulations.
- Strong clinical skills in oncology, infusion practices, patient safety, and documentation.
Preferred:
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
- Experience in multidisciplinary patient care coordination.
