About the Role
As a Physician-Pediatric Infectious Disease, you will be responsible for diagnosing and treating various pediatric infectious diseases, providing inpatient and emergency department consultations, and collaborating with mid-level providers. You will also engage in telemedicine consultations and allocate time for teaching residents and medical students. The position requires participation in governance meetings and adherence to quality metrics and patient satisfaction standards.
About You
Required:
- Must possess and maintain a current and valid State of Nevada Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic (DO) medicine license.
- Board-Eligible or Board-Certified in Pediatric Infectious Disease through the American Board of Pediatrics (ABP).
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
Preferred:
- Prior experience in pediatric infectious disease specialty.
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification highly encouraged.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
