Summary
Agile Occupational Medicine is seeking a Staff Physician to join their team in Santa Fe Springs, CA. The role involves directing the Center's medical policies and programs to ensure high-quality occupational healthcare delivery.
About the Role
As a Staff Physician, you will spend 100% of your time providing direct patient care, managing clinicians and support staff, and ensuring compliance with medical regulations. You will collaborate with therapists and specialists to drive optimal clinical outcomes, enhance patient experiences, and promote a professional working environment. Your responsibilities will also include maintaining relationships with clients and payers, participating in team meetings for continuous improvement, and managing clinical staffing levels.
About You
Required:
- Graduate of an accredited medical program with an M.D. or D.O. degree and an unrestricted California medical license.
- Board certified or board eligible through ABPM, ABFM, AOA, or the applicable state medical board.
- Active DEA registration required.
- Current BLS and AED certification required; ACLS certification preferred.
- NRCME (DOT Medical Examiner) certification required or ability to obtain within 30 days of hire.
Preferred:
- Experience in occupational medicine and knowledge of OSHA and DOT standards.
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information in compliance with HIPAA/PHI.
- Experience with electronic medical records.
