About the Role
As a Pipe Layer, you will be responsible for installing sanitary and storm water sewer structures and pipe systems, laying out pipe routes according to specifications, cutting pipes to required lengths, and ensuring proper alignment and sealing of joints. You will also check slopes for conformance, cover pipes with earth, and maintain a clean and safe work site while performing tasks outdoors in various weather conditions.
About You
Required:
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Ability to physically stand, bend, squat, and lift up to 40 pounds.
- Basic understanding of construction principles and procedures.
Preferred:
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Ability to work independently or as an active member of a team.
- Fluency in English and Spanish is a plus, but not required.
