Collins Aerospace is seeking a Customer Quality Engineer (CQE) to join their team onsite in Marlborough, MA. The role involves executing quality initiatives and managing processes to deliver compliant systems and customer quality requirements throughout program lifecycles.
About the Role
As a Customer Quality Engineer, you will support programs by ensuring that Mission Assurance (MA) technical requirements are developed using approved processes. You will lead and mentor teams, communicate program goals, provide program direction, establish customer relations, and ensure independent reviews of program performance.
About You
Required:
University Degree with minimum 8 years of relevant experience or an Advanced Degree with minimum 5 years of experience, or 12 years of relevant experience without a degree.
Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance.
Skilled in collaboration, problem-solving, and developing practical solutions.
Experienced in performance improvement, risk management, and Earned Value Management.
Proficient in Microsoft Office with strong communication skills and willingness to travel (≤10%).
Preferred:
ASQ Quality Certification with expertise in ISO 9001, AS9100, and MA Cert MAL Level 3.
Aerospace or Defense industry experience with knowledge of systems engineering and reliability.
Skilled in audits, nonconformance review boards, and Quality Management Systems.
Experienced in IPDS/gating, program phasing, and leading/mentoring teams.
