About the Role
As a Lead Histology Technologist, you will provide organizational and technical support to histology technicians and pathology laboratory technical assistants. Your responsibilities will include ensuring proper preparation of surgical and cytology specimens and compliance with established protocols and guidelines for pathology operations.
About You
Required:
- High school diploma or equivalent education (GED) or post-secondary education.
- Current HT/HTL certification through American Society for Clinical Pathology (ASCP).
- Three (3) years of experience as a Histology Tech.
- All applicants must submit to a Color-Acuity screening.
Preferred:
- Computer keyboard and information system experience.
- Immuno chemistry experience and/or training.
- B.S. degree in science, plus successful completion of a formal histology technologist training program.
