Summary
Jobot is seeking a Plant Controller to join their team in Cheverly, MD. The role involves overseeing all financial operations at the manufacturing site, ensuring accurate financial reporting, cost control, budgeting, and compliance.
About the Role
As a Plant Controller, you will lead all plant-level accounting functions, prepare financial reports, partner with leadership to develop budgets, analyze variances, ensure compliance with GAAP, support SAP implementation, supervise accounting staff, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive strategic initiatives.
About You
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Minimum 5–7 years of progressive accounting/finance experience, with at least 3 years in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge of cost accounting, inventory management, and financial analysis.
- Proficiency in SAP (S/4HANA strongly preferred) and advanced Excel skills.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
Preferred:
- CPA or MBA.
- Experience in food, beverage, or CPG manufacturing.
- Ability to work onsite full-time and thrive in a fast-paced, hands-on environment.
