About the Role
As a Plant Health Care Specialist, you will be responsible for inspecting plant material, identifying pests and diseases, selecting and applying treatments, preparing diagnostic reports, and educating clients about their landscape. You will operate spray and application equipment safely and work independently to ensure customer satisfaction.
About You
Required:
- A degree in Arboriculture, Urban Forestry, Horticulture, Plant Science, Plant Pathology, Environmental Sciences, Landscape Management, Turfgrass, or related experience.
- The ability to work independently with responsibility and care.
- Excellent written, verbal, and listening skills to engage with clients effectively.
- Commitment to completing required training and obtaining necessary certifications and licenses.
- Authorization to lawfully work in the U.S.
- A valid driver’s license with the ability to operate service-line vehicles.
Preferred:
- Willingness to learn plant/tree identification and safe equipment use.
