Summary
Future Polytech is seeking a Plant Manager to lead their manufacturing facility in Coldwater, Ohio. The role involves providing strategic and operational leadership for plant operations, focusing on lean manufacturing and continuous improvement.
About the Role
As a Plant Manager, you will oversee all aspects of plant operations, including extrusion, printing, and bag making. You will develop and implement operational plans, ensure compliance with safety and quality standards, drive continuous improvement initiatives, and lead a team of managers and production associates. Your responsibilities will also include budget management, cost control, and fostering a positive work environment.
About You
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Business/Administration Management, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Technology, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience as a Plant Manager or in a senior operations management role within a manufacturing environment.
- Strong understanding of lean manufacturing principles, including Six Sigma, 5S, and Kaizen.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
Preferred:
- Experience with extrusion, printing, and bag making.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
