Summary
Arkema is seeking a Plant Manager to lead their operations in Conyers, GA. The role involves providing leadership and management for all aspects of the plant's operation, ensuring safety, compliance, and achievement of business KPIs.
About the Role
As a Plant Manager, you will be responsible for developing and implementing an EHS Program, ensuring compliance with OSHA, EPA, and PSM requirements, leading quality management systems, supporting new product introductions, and improving plant productivity. You will collaborate with various departments to optimize delivery and manage budgets while fostering continuous improvement and effective communication with stakeholders.
About You
Required:
- BS or MS in Engineering or related discipline.
- 5–10 years of experience in manufacturing operations and/or engineering supervision.
- 3–5 years of experience in project management, process engineering, and regulatory compliance.
- Excellent interpersonal, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Demonstrated leadership in team environments.
- Adaptability to change and ability to lead change.
- Experience with Lean/6 Sigma Manufacturing.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Preferred:
- Experience in a PSM facility.
- Ability to manage competing priorities.
- Experience with enterprise systems and PC-based software.
