About the Role

As a Plant Mechanic, you will be responsible for assembling, installing, aligning, maintaining, repairing, troubleshooting, inspecting, and dismantling machinery and equipment. You will service prime motors, PLCs, and various mechanical systems, ensuring compliance with health and safety codes and regulations. The position requires hands-on repair and calibration of pneumatics and hydraulics, as well as familiarity with relevant market products and equipment.

About You

Required:

High School or Technical School education with a valid electrician millwright license.
Minimum five years of experience in the industry.
Considerable mechanical and electrical aptitude.
Ability to read mechanical, electrical, and machine drawings.

Preferred:

Knowledge of Health and Safety codes, regulations, and procedures.
Experience with programming and troubleshooting of PLCs.
Forklift certification.
Hands-on experience with arc welding and brazing.

Benefits

Temporary to hire position with a pay rate of $30-$35/hr depending on experience.
Flexible shift options: 1st shift (7:30 am - 4:00 pm) or 2nd shift (2:30 pm - 11:00 pm), Monday to Friday.
