Summary
BioLife Plasma Services is seeking a Plasma Center Nurse - LPN to join their team in Thornton, CO. The role involves supporting plasma center operations and ensuring donor safety and eligibility.
About the Role
As a Plasma Center Nurse, you will determine donor eligibility, manage donor adverse events, review laboratory test results, and notify donors of unsuitable test results. You will work under the guidance of the Plasma Center Manager and the Center Physician, ensuring compliance with industry regulations and providing support for environmental, health, and safety initiatives.
About You
Required:
- High school diploma or equivalent, including completion of a recognized educational nursing program.
- Currently licensed or certified as an LPN or LVN in the state of responsibility.
- Current CPR and AED certification.
- Fulfill state requirements for basic IV therapy.
- Two years of experience in a clinical or hospital setting.
Preferred:
- Experience in plasma collection or a similar manufacturing environment.
- Completion of FDA approved training requirements for BioLife Medical Support Specialist.
