BioLife Plasma Services is seeking a Plasma Center Tech / Medical Screener to join their team in Baltimore, MD. The role involves performing as a plasma donor screener and conducting phlebotomy to support plasma center operations.
About the Role
As a Plasma Center Tech / Medical Screener, you will be responsible for greeting donors, ensuring their safety, screening new and repeat donors, recording vital signs, maintaining accurate records, and coordinating donor compensation. You will also identify operational opportunities for improvement and work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
About You
Required:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to walk and/or stand for the entire work shift.
- Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Ability to lift up to 32 lbs. occasionally and rarely 50 lbs.
- 1 or more years minimum experience working in a customer or patient facing role.
Preferred:
- Fine motor coordination and depth perception.
- Ability to hear equipment from a distance.
