About the Role
About You
- Candidate must be a United States Citizen and present proof of Citizenship, if selected.
- 5+ years of professional experience in platform engineering, DevOps, or a related technical role.
- 2+ years of experience managing Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) or other Kubernetes clusters in production environments.
- Strong proficiency in Linux system administration, performance tuning, and troubleshooting.
- Hands-on experience with Kubernetes, including cluster operations, workload deployment, and day-to-day management.
- Proficiency in Python, with the ability to contribute to application code and understand deployment requirements.
- Experience working with physical hardware, including server configuration, maintenance, and on-premise infrastructure support.
- Solid understanding of containerization principles and Docker or other container runtime technologies.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and drive initiatives forward.
- Excellent communication skills and a collaborative, team-oriented mindset.
- Experience deploying GPU-accelerated Python applications for machine learning inference or other compute-intensive workloads.
- Experience building and maintaining hardened container images aligned with NIST security standards.
- Hands-on experience supporting air-gapped or highly restricted deployment environments.
- Familiarity with container security scanning tools and vulnerability management practices.
- Knowledge of zero-trust architecture principles and service mesh technologies.
