Summary
Sargent & Lundy is seeking a PMO Project Support Professional to join their team in Reading, PA. The role involves supporting project management activities related to contracting, work management, materials tracking, and financial forecasting for energy transmission and distribution projects.
About the Role
As a PMO Project Support Professional, you will be responsible for monitoring deliverable status, updating schedule status, creating Requests for Proposals, processing Contract Requisitions, and performing financial forecasting and tracking. You will interface with project management, contractors, vendors, and site personnel to control costs and deliver reporting, ensuring projects meet key schedule, cost, and quality metrics.
About You
Required:
- Ability to manage various data types and navigate software systems.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Eager to learn new skills and develop knowledge.
- Working knowledge in MS Office tools, especially MS Excel and/or MS Access.
- Proven ability to create reports by extracting and working with data from various software platforms.
Preferred:
- Bachelor of science degree from an ABET Accreditation Commission-approved program or equivalent experience.
- Related internship, co-op, or work experience, preferably within the power industry.
- Experience using various conditional aggregation and lookup functions in MS Excel.
- Experience with project information software solutions such as IBM Asset Suite, Oracle People Soft, Oracle Hyperion Financial Management, and RedWave.
