- Graduation from high school or possession of a G.E.D. certificate.
- Possession of a valid P.O.S.T. Basic certificate.
- At least 21 years of age.
- Ability to pass a physical agility test and meet P.O.S.T. medical standards.
- Successful completion of a P.O.S.T. background investigation.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) skills.
- Experience in law enforcement or related fields.
- Non-tobacco user.
