About the Role
As a Police Officer, you will be responsible for enforcing laws and regulations, investigating criminal offenses, and making arrests as necessary. You will provide assistance to citizens and ensure the safety of all individuals within the jurisdiction of the Ector County Hospital District. The position requires exercising independent judgment and working under varying conditions and hours.
About You
Required:
- High School graduate or equivalent.
- Current Texas Peace Officer License through TCOLE with 3 years of law enforcement experience.
- Valid Texas Class C driver’s license.
- Must be 21 years of age or older.
Preferred:
- Ability to use computer, typewriter, two-way radio, and telephone.
- Ability to render credible testimony in a court of law.
- Mental Health Peace Officer Certification within 18 months of employment.
- Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) Certification.
