About You
- 1-3 years of experience in event planning, ideally for a news or political organization.
- Demonstrated interest in politics, policy, and the political process.
- Proven in-person and virtual event execution skills.
- Exceptional time management, organizational skills, and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience supporting and/or managing numerous concurrent events.
- Knowledge of vendors, venues, and audiences in Washington and other key markets.
- Demonstrated problem-solving skills and the ability to work well under pressure.
- Experience using Microsoft Office products and project management platforms.
