As a Senior Materials Scientist, you will lead the development of polymer formulations, apply scientific principles to product creation, specify and develop tests to meet customer specifications, audit raw material suppliers, manage projects, and provide technical leadership. You will also present technical findings at industry events and work closely with various internal and external stakeholders.
About You
Required:
- 4 year technical degree in engineering or chemistry in a polymers or materials field of study.
- 3 years of related experience in the plastics or polymers industry, working on product or formulation development for polymer applications.
- Working knowledge of polymers and formulation.
- Strong analytical skills.
- Effective oral and written communication skills.
Preferred:
- Use of design of experiment techniques and other statistical tests.
- Demonstrated success in new product development and launches.
- Publication of technical papers in industry conferences.
- Granted patents.
