About the Role
As a Pool Inspector, you will perform field inspections of public swimming pools, investigate reported nuisance conditions, and conduct routine water sampling. You will work independently in a designated area and may be required to explain health requirements to the public and follow up on unsafe conditions.
About You
Required:
- High school diploma.
- Knowledge of environmental health protection and safety for swimming pools and spas.
- Ability to read and interpret codes, ordinances, and regulations.
- Valid driver's license and ability to work legally in the U.S.
Preferred:
- College courses in Chemistry, Biology, and Environmental Sciences.
Benefits
- Flexible working hours, up to 20 hours a week January through April and October through December, with approximately 32 hours per week from May through September.
- Limited part-time position without benefits.
