About the Role
As a Postdoctoral Research Associate, you will be responsible for preparing, collecting, and organizing plant samples for testing responses in various culture settings. You will analyze the impact of chemicals on plant growth, prepare libraries for transcriptome analysis, and conduct molecular biology experiments. Additionally, you will evaluate data for peer-reviewed publications and supervise undergraduate and graduate students in research activities.
About You
Required:
- PhD in Plant Biology, Genetics, Molecular Biology, Plant Breeding, Horticulture, Chemistry, Plant Physiology, or closely related field.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Preferred:
- Two years of related professional experience.
- Experience in Bioinformatics.
- Experience with cultivating plants in greenhouse and growth chambers.
- Experience in basic molecular biology techniques such as cloning and PCR.
- Experience in conducting wet lab procedures to prepare libraries.
- Experience in developing and writing publications for peer-reviewed journals.
