Summary
Texas A&M AgriLife Research is seeking a Postdoctoral Research Associate to join their team in Dallas, Texas. The role involves active participation in research focused on community-based intervention studies and health equity.
About the Role
As a Postdoctoral Research Associate, you will engage in various research activities including data analysis, manuscript preparation, grant proposal development, and presentations. You will work on projects addressing food and nutrition insecurity and maternal and early childhood nutrition, contributing to the advancement of health equity and health disparities.
About You
Required:
- Ph.D. in a related field (e.g., nutrition, public health, epidemiology, kinesiology).
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Highly organized and detail-oriented.
- Experience conducting human subjects research.
Preferred:
- Experience developing interventions for underserved populations.
- Solid experience with qualitative and/or quantitative data analysis.
- Strong scientific manuscript writing and presentation skills.
- Experience with extramural funding applications.
