Summary
ITA International is seeking a Power Engineer to join their team supporting the Department of State in Rosslyn, VA. The role involves the design, installation, operation, and lifecycle maintenance of advanced countermeasures systems at overseas diplomatic facilities.
About the Role
As a Power Engineer, you will be responsible for building and configuring countermeasures systems, managing hardware and software configuration changes, providing technical support throughout all phases of countermeasures systems, and assisting in the evaluation and development of new systems. You will also support training for Department of State personnel, draft technical security policies, and write detailed reports. The role requires travel for program coordination, with 10-25% travel expected.
About You
Required:
- Current Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility (SSBI less than 4.5 years old).
- Minimum ten years of work experience in power, electrical engineering, or physics.
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
- Demonstrated experience working with data throughout its lifecycle, including collection, management, analysis, reporting, and secure disposition.
- Intermediate skills in Microsoft Project, Visio, and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Ability to read, interpret, and create electrical and electromechanical schematics.
Preferred:
- Understanding of Internet of Things (IoT), operational technology (OT), security systems, and current industry trends.
- Ability to work independently and as a member of a team, demonstrating a positive attitude.
- Strong attention to detail, ability to multi-task efficiently, and work in a fast-paced environment on multiple projects.
- Familiarity with MATLAB, Python, C++, or other programming languages.
