About the Role
As a Pre / Post Op RN, you will be responsible for planning, directing, organizing, coordinating, and implementing all nursing care services for pre- or post-surgical patients. You will ensure the highest quality and safe delivery of patient care while maintaining compliance with professional nursing standards. The position requires collaboration with a dynamic Perianesthesia Team and supports the mission, vision, and values of the organization.
About You
Required:
- Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
- At least one year experience as a RN in hospital Medical/Surgery or ICU unit.
- Active RN license in Pennsylvania.
- BLS certification.
- Current ACLS/PALS certification preferred or included in education plan.
Preferred:
- Certification in specialty area.
- Strong communication skills, verbal and written.
- Ability to make decisions based on nursing judgment.
- Able to prioritize and organize workload to meet needs of patients and unit.
