About the Role
As a Pre-Access Specialist, you will be responsible for scheduling procedures, obtaining and validating patient information, pre-registering patients, completing insurance verifications, calculating patient liabilities, and performing front desk duties. You will also ensure compliance with medical necessity checks and assist patients during their visit.
About You
Required:
- High School Diploma or GED.
- 1-2 years of healthcare experience preferred.
- 1-2 years of extensive customer service experience preferred.
Preferred:
- Graduate of business school.
- Experience in multiple areas of pre-access (scheduling, pre-registration, financial clearance).
- Knowledge of medical terminology and insurance.
