About the Role
As a Pre-billing Specialist, you will work closely with Communications, Operations, and billing departments to manage the authorization process for non-emergency transports. Your responsibilities will include reviewing transport requests, obtaining necessary authorizations, managing customer complaints, and maintaining relationships with various stakeholders including clients and payors.
About You
Required:
- High School diploma or GED required.
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office software and computer functions.
Preferred:
- EMT certification/licensure or medical experience.
- Experience in the medical industry.
- General knowledge of medical and insurance terminology.
- Knowledge of Medicare and Medicaid guidelines related to ambulance billing.
Benefits
- Hourly compensation of $18/hr to $20/hr depending on experience.
- Full-time position with a Monday to Friday schedule from 11am to 7pm Eastern.
