About the Role
As a Pre-Construction Manager, you will be responsible for leading the estimating and budgeting process for residential and light commercial projects, analyzing drawings and specifications, collaborating with architects and clients, managing the bidding process, providing value engineering, and ensuring smooth handoff to project management. You will also maintain estimating systems and monitor market trends to inform budgets.
About You
Required:
- 2+ years of experience in residential or commercial construction.
- 1+ year of experience in estimating or purchasing.
- Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and sequencing.
- Proven ability to read and interpret blueprints, plans, and specifications.
- Experience performing takeoffs, budget development, and cost analysis.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and construction estimating software.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
Preferred:
- Experience with project management platforms like CoConstruct or Buildertrend.
- A proactive, team-oriented attitude with a focus on accuracy and collaboration.
- Integrity and professionalism aligned with company values.

- Salary: $70k-$85k (commensurate with experience).
