Polestar is seeking a Pre-Owned Manager to join their team in Mahwah, NJ. The role involves managing the remarketing and pre-owned vehicle business for Polestar North America.
About the Role
As a Pre-Owned Manager, you will be responsible for developing and managing Polestar’s Pre-Owned vehicle program and remarketing in the U.S. Your daily tasks will include managing the remarketing of company-owned cars, setting vehicle pricing, overseeing transportation and title management, maintaining vendor relationships, monitoring performance indicators, collaborating with retailers, and executing customer-facing offers to increase Certified Pre-Owned (CPO) sales.
About You
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in business.
- 5+ years of experience in automotive, with wholesale or pre-owned experience preferred.
- Strong understanding of vehicle remarketing, pricing strategies, and logistics.
- Excellent analytical skills and the ability to use data to inform decisions.
Preferred:
- Familiarity with digital platforms for automotive operations (e.g., Manheim, Dealer Portals).
- Experience managing Certified Pre-Owned (CPO) programs and marketing activities.
- Demonstrated organizational and project management skills.
- Effective communicator with strong relationship-building skills.
