Summary
Digital Realty is seeking a Preconstruction Manager to join their team in Richardson, TX or Ashburn, VA. The role involves providing preconstruction support for development projects across North America and acting as a liaison for preconstruction services.
About the Role
As a Preconstruction Manager, you will be responsible for reviewing project standards for cost savings, evaluating project drawing deliverables, leading cost review meetings, establishing and updating budgets, and maintaining relationships with general contracting partners. You will also oversee cost-related issues on projects and present budgets to stakeholders.
About You
Required:
- Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university in a related field.
- 10-15 years minimum experience in construction or preconstruction of Data Centers and Mission Critical facilities.
- Ability to communicate effectively and tactfully with personnel and clientele.
- Demonstrated ability to promote teamwork and individual leadership.
- Extensive knowledge of building codes and construction systems.
Preferred:
- Effective time management and organizational skills.
- Well-developed analytical and problem-solving skills.
