About the Role
As a Preschool Teacher, you will provide daily care for children, foster age-appropriate learning and socialization, support the development of basic skills, monitor behavior and development, guide positive behaviors, prepare students for transitions, work in small groups, keep accurate records, and collaborate with parents and staff.
About You
Required:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Valid driver's license.
- CPR/First Aid Certified (or willingness to obtain).
- Ability to pass fingerprinting and background checks.
- Knowledge of childhood development and preschool practices.
- Friendly, calm demeanor with strong communication and mediation skills.
- Physically able to lift/carry children, sit on the floor, and maintain classroom energy.
- Organized, dependable, and flexible.
Preferred:
- Prior experience in a licensed childcare setting (teacher assistant, daycare, preschool).
- Familiarity with early education standards and classroom safety procedures.
