About the Role
As a Preschool Teacher, you will be responsible for supervising and guiding Instructional Assistants and Associate Teachers, coordinating home visits and parent conferences, planning and implementing the center's education plan, maintaining accurate documentation, ensuring a safe and developmentally appropriate environment, and participating in staff meetings and required trainings. You will also aid children in developing self-help skills and implement Individual Education Plans as part of a multidisciplinary team.
About You
Required:
- AA/AS degree with 24 units of Early Childhood Education/Child Development and 6 months related teaching experience for Teacher I.
- BA/BS degree with 12 units of Early Childhood Education/Child Development and 1 year related teaching experience for Teacher II.
Preferred:
- Child Development Teacher Permit or higher.
- Experience in coordinating home visits and parent conferences.
