Summary
Volunteers of America Texas is seeking a President and Chief Executive Officer to provide strategic leadership and direction, ensuring the organization’s growth, sustainability, and alignment with its mission.
About the Role
As the CEO, you will oversee all operational, programmatic, and external affairs activities, ensuring effective delivery of services, financial stability, and brand strengthening. You will lead a team of over 400 staff members and drive innovation while remaining mission-focused. Your responsibilities will include diversifying revenue streams, building relationships with stakeholders, and advocating for policies that strengthen community development.
About You
Required:
- Master’s degree in Business Administration, Nonprofit Management, Social Services, Public Administration, Healthcare Administration, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 10+ years of progressive executive leadership experience in nonprofit or social services organizations.
- Proven success managing complex, multi-disciplinary organizations.
- Strong financial acumen and fundraising experience.
- Demonstrated alignment with faith-based mission and values.
