About the Role

As a Prevention Associate, you will work closely with the Prevention Specialist to support community outreach and group facilitation. Your responsibilities will include providing advocacy, information, and referrals, while adhering to confidentiality rules. You will also be involved in training, record-keeping, and presenting to community organizations. Flexibility in working hours is required, as some duties may occur outside of normal business hours.

About You

Required:

Experience with program development and implementation.
Knowledge of community resources and public relations skills.
Strong communication skills, both oral and written.
Valid Driver’s License and a vehicle with insurance.

Preferred:

Bachelor’s Degree with experience in community outreach and substance abuse education.
Cultural competence and program development experience.
Bilingual skills.
