About the Role
As a Primary Care Physician, you will be responsible for evaluating and treating center patients according to standards of care, coordinating patient services, participating in daily huddles with the care team, and ensuring compliance with medical documentation and policies. You will spend 100% of your time focused on direct patient care, including administrative tasks related to patient care.
About You
Required:
- Current and unrestricted medical license or willing to obtain a medical license in Florida.
- Graduate of accredited MD or DO program.
- Board Certification or Board Eligible in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine (Geriatric Medicine preferred).
- Active and unrestricted DEA license.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Demonstrated high level of interpersonal skills with colleagues and patients.
- Engaged in integrated team-based care model.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to value-based care settings.
- Basic computer skills, including email and EMR.
Preferred:
- Minimum of two to five years of directly applicable experience.
- Experience managing Medicare Advantage panel of patients.
- Knowledge of Medicare guidelines and coverage.
- Knowledge of HEDIS quality indicators.
- Bilingual (English and Spanish) is a plus.
