About the Role
As a Primary Care Physician, you will perform and document medical evaluations, provide treatment for acute and chronic medical conditions, order and interpret diagnostic studies, develop treatment plans, and refer patients to specialists as needed. You will also supervise clinical staff and participate in teaching and training activities.
About You
Required:
- Broad medical knowledge and extensive experience providing Primary Care medicine to an acutely and chronically ill patient population.
- Completion of approved medical school and residency in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine.
- License to practice medicine in Virginia.
- Active Virginia DEA number prior to approval of clinical privilege.
Preferred:
- Board Certification.
- Bilingual.
- Veteran or veteran spouse.
