Summary
Skyway Behavioral Health is seeking a Primary Therapist to join their team in Downers Grove, IL. The role involves providing individual and group therapy, collaborating in treatment planning, and supporting patients in their recovery journey.
About the Role
As a Primary Therapist, you will be a key member of the treatment team, serving as the main point of contact for patients at various levels of care. Your responsibilities will include delivering group psychotherapy, providing individual and family therapy, conducting clinical assessments, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure effective patient care.
About You
Required:
- Completion of a graduate or doctorate degree (MA, MS, PhD, or PsyD)
- Must have provisional license or be license eligible (LPC or LSW)
- Exceptional organization skills, reliable and timely
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Fluency in reading, writing, and speaking English
Preferred:
- Clinical proficiency in treatment, diagnosis, and documentation
- Reliable form of transportation to work
- Proficiency in Microsoft products (Word, Outlook, Excel) and familiarity with EHR systems
- Clinical experience with trauma treatment, eating disorders, and/or mood and anxiety disorders
- 2 or more years of experience in a clinical or health care setting
