Summary
Telos is seeking a Primary Therapist to join their team in Orem, UT. The role involves providing therapeutic support to adolescents facing various mental health challenges.
About the Role
As a Primary Therapist, you will maintain a caseload of 4-6 students, conducting individual, family, and group therapy. You will cultivate relationships with referral sources, manage cases in a weekly treatment team, and handle crises for assigned clients. Additionally, you will complete special assignments as directed by your supervisor.
About You
Required:
- Utah State license
- Masters level or higher in a relevant field
- Professional documentation and charting skills
- Experience in treating youth and young adults
- Comfortable with a team approach
- Willingness to learn Telos systems and approach
Preferred:
- Experience in the residential treatment industry
- Working knowledge of Family Systems Theory
- Special training in working with emotional dysregulation
