About the Role
As a Principal AI Data Scientist, you will be responsible for developing advanced machine learning models, conducting exploratory data analysis, and building GenAI workflows. You will partner with various teams to bring models into production and develop evaluation frameworks for AI systems. Your work will contribute to innovative software solutions that improve operational efficiency and support strategic initiatives.
About You
Required:
- 10+ years of experience building, evaluating, and deploying machine learning models in production environments.
- Strong proficiency in Python and key ML/AI libraries (pandas, NumPy, scikit-learn, PyTorch or TensorFlow, HuggingFace Transformers).
- Applied experience developing LLM-based solutions, including prompt engineering and retrieval-augmented generation (RAG).
- Experience working with Databricks for data preparation and experiment tracking.
- Experience with Dataiku for workflow orchestration and model deployment.
- Hands-on experience with AWS data and AI services such as S3, Lambda, and SageMaker.
- Strong statistical background with experience in hypothesis testing and regression techniques.
- Ability to communicate complex findings clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Proven ability to collaborate in cross-functional agile teams.
Preferred:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering, or a related quantitative discipline.
- Experience with agentic AI systems and multi-step reasoning evaluation.
- Familiarity with vector databases and semantic search techniques.
- Experience analyzing and preparing multi-modal datasets for AI solutions.
- Knowledge of ML governance and responsible AI principles.
- Strong storytelling and data visualization skills.
