Summary
Full Spectrum is seeking a Principal Architect - Embedded to join their team in Westborough, MA. The role involves leading the development and launch of complex, software-driven systems while advising clients on technical decisions.
About the Role
As a Principal Architect - Embedded, you will collaborate with client management and technical staff, lead initial engagements, provide technical oversight for software development, assess and formulate software architecture, gather requirements, manage risks, and mentor software engineers. You will also be expected to travel up to 10% as needed.
About You
Required:
- 10+ years of experience as a software developer and architect supporting development of embedded systems.
- Experience designing and developing software for Linux, RTOS, and bare-metal targets.
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Physics or related discipline.
Preferred:
- Experience with software architecture formulation and assessment.
- Experience in a regulated product development environment such as medical devices or avionics controls.
- Exceptional oral and written communication skills.
