Capital One is seeking a Principal Associate, Quantitative Analysis to join their Investment Portfolio Team in McLean, VA. The role involves developing and deploying advanced finance models and leveraging machine learning technologies to enhance financial decision-making.

About the Role

As a Principal Associate, Quantitative Analysis, you will partner with various lines of business to develop and enhance advanced finance models, design and implement analytical solutions using AI/ML, and take ownership of the end-to-end ML model development process. You will also collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams to build cloud-based solutions and communicate complex technical insights to diverse audiences.

About You

Required:

Bachelor's Degree in a quantitative field plus 5 years of experience performing data analytics.
Deep understanding of quantitative modeling in relation to finance and investment portfolio modeling principles.
Extensive experience in Python or other object-oriented language.

Preferred:

Master’s Degree or PhD in a quantitative field.
At least 5 years of experience in Python.
At least 2 years of experience in machine learning.
