GForce Life Sciences is seeking a Principal Associate Scientist for a 12-month contract position onsite in Cambridge, MA. The role focuses on compound management and assay development.
About the Role
As a Principal Associate Scientist, you will be responsible for processing compound requests, preparing assay-ready plates, coordinating shipments, maintaining compound library integrity, and performing maintenance on liquid handling systems. Additionally, you will develop and execute biochemical and cell-based assays, operate automation platforms, and analyze assay data to ensure quality and reproducibility.
About You
Required:
B.S. in Biology, Chemistry, Biotechnology, or a related field with up to 4 years of relevant lab experience; or M.S. with up to 2 years of relevant experience.
Hands-on experience with plate-based biochemical and/or cell-based assays.
Strong organizational, time-management, and communication skills.
Detail-oriented and collaborative, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced team environment.
Preferred:
Experience in compound management, LIMS/databases, and high-throughput screening workflows.
Familiarity with automation platforms and liquid handling robotics.
